Overload of customers to transaction points to add photos for mobile subscribers
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 24, fearing that their phones would be cut off, many people in Vinh city rushed to the service offices of network operators to add portrait photos.
Upon receiving the notice to add photos, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, Hung Phuc Ward, Vinh City, went to a mobile information service store to take additional photos. "Because the store has been crowded these past few days, I had to line up and wait a long time for my turn," Ms. Phuong said.
Also coming to provide additional photos like Ms. Phuong, Mr. Le Nguyen Can, 62 years old, Dong Vinh ward said that although he did not receive a message from the network operator, because he saw information that after April 24, if he did not fully register personal information and portrait photos, he would be blocked in one direction, so he took the opportunity to go to the network operator's registration point to complete the prepaid subscription procedures.

Ms. Dang Phuong Thao, a network employee on Minh Khai Street, Vinh City, said that in recent days, the number of customers coming to register has increased dramatically, so the company has sent her and many other employees to service points to support customers.
According to the provisions of Decree 49/2017/ND-CP of the Government, by April 24, if prepaid subscribers do not complete the addition of owner information, including adding a portrait photo, their calls will be cut off, so the number of customers at service points has increased dramatically, making it difficult for staff to cope.
“To facilitate people's photo submission, in addition to registering at stores and network operators, we also built mobile points in wards, communes, cultural houses, and hamlets,” said Ms. Thao.
Currently, network operators have announced a delay in blocking calls for subscribers who have not added portrait photos, in order to create conditions for users to fully supplement the necessary information as requested.
However, in this issue, many customers believe that network operators have not really taken drastic measures to support people in updating their portraits and subscriber information, causing anxiety for "customers" using mobile phone services.
