Georgia couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the tiny egg. She carefully picked it up, brought it inside and shined a light on it to see if it was a real egg. |

The egg is smaller than a nickel. |
“I didn’t really know what to do with it. I kept it carefully in a little box. I figured I would have a cute little fried egg,” Georgia shared.
The smallest egg ever recorded was found last year by Shannon Hayes, 12, at Capel Iwan, Carmarthenshire, England, at 1.80cm. But Georgia's egg is now 2.5mm smaller.
