South Korean official describes relationship between Kim Jong-un and his wife
South Korean envoy to Pyongyang commented that Kim Jong-un and his wife are very "close and equal".

A delegation of five South Korean officials attended a reception hosted by North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and his wife Ri Sol-ju at the Workers' Party headquarters on March 5, according toReuters.At the banquet, they had the opportunity to closely observe the relationship between Mr. Kim and his wife.
One official described the two as seemingly "equal" and said Mr Kim was a pleasant husband."They look very close, he is not the conservative type of husband," the unnamed official commented.
Ms. Ri has appeared in North Korean media many times at domestic events but rarely attends diplomatic events. Experts say that the presence of First Lady Ri at the above banquet is a sign that leader Kim Jong-un is ready to join hands with South Korea.
