Earlier, the FNN news service reported that Kim Jang Son, who is considered the manager of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, appeared on Wednesday near the railway station in Vladivostok, which may indicate preparations for the North Korean head of state's trip there.
“Yes, he was here yesterday. Many staff saw him checking the station to ensure safety,” said a station employee.
He also said that the station's management had been instructed to be especially vigilant in the coming days, but that there were no immediate plans to increase security. "We have not been informed about increased security yet, but everyone has been told to be vigilant because North Koreans are coming," the person told the news agency.
Earlier, South Korea's Yonhap news agency, citing unnamed sources in Moscow, said that Kim Jong-un's visit to Russia could take place next week. The news agency's source said that the meeting between the two countries' leaders could take place on April 24, when the Russian president is in Vladivostok.
