The US military is about to test the "Iron Man" armor.

US media reported that the US Department of Defense began testing a new type of armor for soldiers fighting on the battlefield this summer.

TALOS (Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit) armor, nicknamed "Steel Man", is a joint technological achievement of 16 organizations, 56 private companies and a number of prestigious laboratories and scientific research centers in the US.

Currently, the US Department of Defense has three TALOS prototypes for testing this summer. Depending on the test results, the US military will decide which prototype is suitable for mass production and equipping soldiers in 2018.

The TALOS armor is introduced to protect soldiers from rifle bullets, ensure good night vision, provide necessary information through glasses, have a medical kit bag, have good heat retention and provide oxygen.
