The North Korean military has announced it will continue test-firing missiles.
According to Kyodo, on July 3, North Korea vowed to continue conducting tactical guided missile test launches, even if the US accuses these actions of being provocative and escalating tensions in the region.

The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) quoted a North Korean military spokesman as saying: "North Korea will continue to conduct drills launching high-precision tactical guided missiles... This is the official exercise of supreme sovereignty."
The spokesperson further warned that "those who provoke the sovereignty and dignity of this country may never escape the range of our high-precision firepower, regardless of who they are, where they are, or what individual or organization they may be."
The statement from North Korea came just one day after the country launched two short-range "projectiles" off its east coast.
This is the latest in a series of missile tests by North Korea ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to South Korea and a day after Seoul rejected Pyongyang's proposals to de-escalate tensions, including a proposal to cancel the annual joint military exercises with the United States.
