On May 17, President Nicolas Maduro visited the state of Aragua and joined thousands of soldiers and officers in a “march of loyalty.” He walked two kilometers, surrounded by crowds of soldiers, along rows of military equipment. Afterwards, he praised the outstanding soldiers and delivered a speech, once again criticizing US imperialism.
Then the soldiers shouted: "Only those who fight have the right to exist. No one has the right to occupy our country. We are ready. We are waiting with guns."
