Military Region 4 ensures logistics work meets combat readiness mission requirements
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 5, a working delegation of the General Department of Logistics of the Vietnam People's Army led by Major General Ha Nhu Loi - Deputy Head of the General Department of Logistics inspected logistics work in the first 9 months of 2023 at Military Region 4.

The inspection delegation listened to a report on the results of logistics work in the first 9 months of 2023 of Military Region 4, and conducted a field inspection at the Military School of Military Region 4 and the 414th Engineering Brigade.

In the first 9 months of 2023, the Logistics Department of the Military Region closely followed the Logistics Command of the Military Region Commander, advised, synchronously deployed and effectively implemented the work of ensuring logistics for regular and ad hoc tasks for the armed forces of the Military Region. The basic goals and targets were achieved and exceeded, of which the target of increasing production and processing reached 101.5% of the plan; the living conditions and workplaces of officers and soldiers were improved; good health care for soldiers, the rate of healthy soldiers reached 98.84%. Logistics models continued to be consolidated and effectively promoted, basic construction work was deployed closely, quality was ensured; logistics facilities were well managed; the emulation movement "The Military Logistics Sector follows Uncle Ho's teachings" was effectively maintained, and all assigned tasks were successfully completed.
Through the inspection, on behalf of the working delegation, Major General Ha Nhu Loi - Deputy Head of the General Department of Logistics acknowledged and highly appreciated the logistics work of Military Region 4 in the first 9 months of 2023.

The Deputy Head of the General Department of Logistics also pointed out a number of key issues that Military Region 4 needs to focus on implementing in the coming time.
