In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, officers and soldiers of the armed forces of Military Region 4 expressed their sincere respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the beloved Father of the armed forces; at the same time, reported to Uncle Ho the achievements that the Military Region had achieved in the first months of 2017.

Notably, officers and soldiers of the Military Region have continuously strived, overcome difficulties, improved overall quality and combat strength; closely coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to carry out and successfully complete military and defense tasks in the first quarter of 2017.

Before the spirit of Uncle Ho, the Party Committee and Command of Military Region 4 pledge to continue to unite and be creative to lead and direct the armed forces of the Military Region to successfully complete all assigned tasks, especially to continue to effectively implement the contents of Directive 05 of the Politburo, Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (Term XII) and the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of the title of Uncle Ho's soldiers", building a comprehensively strong armed force of Military Region 4.

Also this morning, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Military Region 4 organized a quick announcement of the results of the 5th Conference of the Party Central Committee (12th tenure) to the presiding officers and senior officers of the Military Region; presiding officers of the Military Commands of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces; Division 324, Military School of Military Region, Vocational College No. 4; brigades of military branches and the Economic Cooperation Corporation.

The conference heard Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong briefly inform the basic contents of three resolutions on: Perfecting the socialist-oriented market economy institution; continuing to restructure, innovate and improve the efficiency of State-owned enterprises; developing the private economy to become an important driving force of the socialist-oriented market economy.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Military Region Command, Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong requested that leaders and commanders of agencies and units after this conference need to continue to quickly and widely disseminate to all officers and soldiers the basic content of the 5th Central Conference.
