Military Region 4: Investing in 71 basic construction projects worth 2,500 billion VND

(Baonghean.vn)- During the year, Military Region 4 had 71 projects and 96 works invested in basic construction, with a total investment capital of over 2,500 billion VND.

On October 26, the Military Region 4 Command held a conference on financial management, basic construction investment in 2015, and deployment of tasks in 2016. Major General Nguyen Tan Cuong, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Commander of the Military Region chaired the conference.

In 2015, the basic construction investment work of Military Region 4 closely followed the policies and directions of superiors, implemented the assigned list and budget correctly; strictly implemented the regulations of the State, the Ministry of National Defense and the Military Region on investment and construction.

During the year, the entire Military Region had 71 projects and 96 works invested in basic construction, with a total investment capital of over 2,500 billion VND.

The process of implementing basic construction investment, programming and approving investment project documents, designing construction drawings, total estimates; selecting contractors, supervising design, checking construction quality and disbursement work are maintained seriously and in accordance with procedures; construction works ensure quality and safety. The total value after appraisal reaches over 2,240 billion VND.

Thanks to that, the appearance of the barracks of the units has been invested in a regular, synchronous and effective manner; Capital management has many innovations, the quality of planning work has been improved, and construction projects have promoted investment efficiency well.

In 2016, the financial management and basic construction investment of Military Region 4 continued to be directed to comply with the regulations on financial work and basic construction in accordance with the policies of the Ministry of National Defense and the Resolution of the Standing Committee of the Military Region Party Committee.
