Military Region 4 inspects the use of boats in Nghe An
On August 20, the Inspection Team of Military Region 4 led by Colonel Cao Xuan Ha - Head of the Transportation Department, Logistics Department of Military Region 4 conducted a comprehensive inspection of ship operations at the Nghe An Provincial Military Command in 2024.
In recent times, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command has effectively implemented Circular 32/2017/TT-BQP dated July 24, 2017 of the Ministry of National Defense regulating the registration, management and use of military vessels; agencies and units have thoroughly grasped and effectively implemented the contents of the Circular in accordance with the practical conditions of the unit and locality. Along with that, advising the Provincial People's Committee to organize training courses for inland waterway vehicle operators for officers and soldiers of the regular army, militia and self-defense forces and provincial border guards...
Through the inspection, the working delegation of Military Region 4 highly appreciated the leadership and direction of the Provincial Military Command in the management and use of vessels; promptly advised local Party committees and authorities on the use of inland waterway vehicles, especially in disaster prevention and search and rescue work in key areas of the province.
In addition, it is necessary to properly manage, register, inspect vehicles, preserve, maintain, and repair equipment, ensure all technical parameters of vessels are in good condition, and ensure adequate materials for rescue work on waterway vehicles.
The inspection team also requested the Provincial Military Command to continue to do a good job in managing, registering, and inspecting vehicles; organizing the preservation and maintenance of vehicles according to regulations; practicing to improve the ability to use equipment, vehicles, and boats, ready to receive and complete assigned tasks.
