Strictly manage concentrated medical quarantine areas to avoid cross-infection of Covid-19

(Baonghean.vn) - From October 7 to now, the provincial-level concentrated quarantine areas under the responsibility of the Provincial Military Command have received 1,822 citizens from southern provinces and cities to return home.

Since October 7, the provincial-level concentrated quarantine areas managed by the Provincial Military Command have received 1,822 citizens repatriated from southern provinces and cities. During the medical quarantine period, the Provincial Military Command and the Health sectorNghe Anpromptly detected 90 people infected with Covid-19; promptly took them for treatment and protected the safety of other citizens in the quarantine area.

After inspecting the quarantine areas, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Deputy Commander of the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center of Nghe An province highly appreciated the drastic and responsible participation of the Provincial Military Command, especially the forces working in the quarantine areas who have devoted their all to serving the people.

However, due to the large number of returning citizens, the lack of quarantine facilities, and the "thin" force... medical quarantine work still faces many difficulties. The risk of the epidemic spreading from returnees in quarantine areas to the community is very high.

The Deputy Commander of the Nghe An Province Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center requested the Provincial Military Command to continue to pay attention, lead, direct and strengthen forces to effectively manage quarantine areas; regularly organize assessments and draw lessons to ensure effective and absolutely safe management at quarantine areas.

Regiment 764 (Provincial Military Command) needs to plan to move F1s and quarantined citizens to a more suitable location;Continue to review citizens who have completed the quarantine period to notify local authorities for monitoring, management and testing according to regulations.

LThe force on duty at quarantine areas needs to continue to review and strictly manage according to epidemic prevention regulations, avoid cross-infection in quarantine areas; at the same time, avoid exposure while on duty.
