Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference. Attending were Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of the sectors in the bloc. |
According to the general assessment of the month, the sectors in the internal affairs sector have well implemented the tasks of the unit, especially the tasks directed by the Provincial Party Standing Committee at the meeting last month. The armed forces continued to maintain strict combat readiness and well organized the district-level defense area drills.
The authorities have proactively grasped, analyzed, forecasted the situation and synchronously deployed forces and measures to prevent and stop opposing and reactionary forces from taking advantage of the National Assembly's passing of the Cyber Security Law and consideration of the draft Law on Special Economic Zones, and the trial of Le Dinh Luong to incite sabotage.

The sectors have advised the Party Committee and the government to promptly resolve outstanding, complicated cases and complaints among the people, preventing complications and the formation of security and order hotspots. Many major drug cases have been cracked down, with large quantities seized. The two-level prosecution agencies have strengthened coordination in investigating, prosecuting and trying cases, especially major cases.
However, there are still some complicated situations such as many people continue to preach and speak ill of the government, taking advantage of the National Assembly's consideration of the draft Law on Special Economic Zones to protest and sabotage. Land management is still limited, and illegal sand and gravel mining has not been rectified.
In particular, the progress in resolving a number of cases and lawsuits under the direction of the Provincial Party Committee for monitoring is still slow, such as the case related to the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 1A, cases related to deforestation, land management and use in Nghia Thai commune, Tan Ky district, etc.
