The conference frankly addressed the advantages, difficulties, and achievements in implementing Directive 90/CT-BQP over the past two years. Agencies and units throughout the military have consistently coordinated closely with local Party committees and authorities to effectively perform their functions of state management of national defense land in accordance with the Land Law. Concluding the conference, General Do Ba Ty emphasized: In the coming period, military agencies and units need to closely coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to thoroughly understand and effectively implement the Government's Decisions and Directives, and Directive 90/CT-BQP of the Ministry of National Defense; strengthen propaganda and education on the purpose and significance of managing and using national defense land; conduct a review, survey, and inventory of the current status, clearly defining the boundaries of national defense land nationwide; gradually resolve areas of dispute and overlap; and resolutely handle those who encroach on national defense land in accordance with the law. In particular, it is crucial to effectively integrate economic development with national defense in projects located in strategically important areas and regions, and in projects involving foreign elements, avoiding loopholes that could be exploited by the enemy for sabotage and sabotage. We propose that leaders of provinces and cities nationwide closely coordinate with the Ministry of National Defense, the armed forces, military regions, and local armed forces to successfully manage and utilize national defense land in their respective areas, effectively fulfilling the two strategic tasks of "Building and Defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam" in the current new situation.
