Sao Mai champion emotionally sings about Uncle Ho in MV filmed in Sen village
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 129th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, many artists have released meaningful art products to pay tribute to and remember him. Among them, the MV "Que Chung" by singer Huyen Trang (music by Ho Trong Tuan, poetry by Nguyen The Ky) - Sao Mai Champion in 2013, filmed in Uncle Ho's hometown Sen village, left many deep impressions on the audience.
As a native of Nghe An and having returned to sing in her homeland many times, for Huyen Trang, the process of making the MV "Que Chung" during these historic days of May has a special meaning.

Huyen Trang shared: I have visited Uncle Ho's paternal and maternal hometowns many times and each time I am filled with emotions. The countryside is fresh and peaceful, containing memories of President Ho Chi Minh's childhood, and every time I visit, I always feel close and very loving. Therefore, as soon as I received the song "Que Chung" by musician Ho Trong Tuan, composed with poetry by author Nguyen The Ky (Member of the Party Central Committee - General Director of the Voice of Vietnam) - a native of Nghe An, I was moved and imagined the familiar images of his hometown that I had visited since childhood.

The 2013 Sao Mai Champion also added that the lyrics of “Que Chung” are very simple but full of emotions. Based on the folk music of Nghe An, the lyrics evoke memories of the beloved countryside like any other countryside of the sunny and windy Central region:“Returning to Uncle Ho's house in May/ The path home is filled with the fragrant scent of lotus/ The bamboo banks rustle in the wind/ Birds chirp from branch to branch…”, But“Mother's homeland and Father's homeland/ Become the homeland of the same country/ Form the shape of the Fatherland/ From the village of the pagoda to the village of the lotus…”let her "sing" with all her soul.
The MV was made during the peak heat wave in Nghe An, but the production crew and singer Huyen Trang still tried their best to complete the music product in the best way, just in time for the anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.
