The champion of the bolero idol from Nghe An is about to have a live show 'Motherhood 2'

On September 16, Doctor of Philosophy - Champion of Bolero Idol 2018 Duy Cuong said that the live show will be performed continuously in Hanoi (October 18) at the Hanoi Opera House, Bac Giang (October 19) and Hai Duong (October 20) on the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20) to pay tribute to Vietnamese mothers who work hard and sacrifice their whole lives for their children and grandchildren.

Duy Cuong said he was not upset when he was considered a copy of Ngoc Son because this singer was his biggest idol. "However, my singing style is not like Ngoc Son's, he himself admitted this" - Duy Cuong affirmed.

Before Duy Cuong's confession, Ngoc Son emotionally shared: I always share with Cuong that in life, always bow your head and apologize, do not be jealous of what has passed but always look forward.

Answering the question of Nghe An Newspaper reporter about the revenue of "Motherhood 1" and whether Duy Cuong plans to do a live show in his hometown Nghe An, Duy Cuong expressed: When doing the live show, Duy Cuong does not expect to gain any profit despite investing billions of dong, he just wants to show gratitude to those who love him.

“In the first live show, all the money collected, besides the expenses, was used for charity. Also in December 2018, I went back to my hometown Nghe An with singer Ngoc Son to do the live show “Nghe An in my heart” to raise money for charity for children,” Duy Cuong said.

Explaining why he continued to choose "Motherly Love" instead of choosing hotter topics that appeal to the audience's tastes, Duy Cuong shared that he is a doctor of philosophy, a university lecturer who also sings. All audiences know Duy Cuong's situation, a hard-working mother who took care of the family when his father was seriously ill and could not work. Duy Cuong and his brother always keep in mind that even if they spend the rest of their lives, they will not be able to repay their mother's kindness in giving birth and raising them. Besides, the audience loves Duy Cuong for his songs about fathers and mothers, for his sweet love songs, so Duy Cuong still wants to continue to honor filial piety and maternal love.

“Vietnamese people love their fathers and mothers very much, filial piety always comes first, so when singer Ngoc Son - my sponsor - gave me the song "Motherhood", Duy Cuong immediately chose it as the theme for his live show. There must be a word of fate and I want to extend that word of fate" - Duy Cuong said.

Duy Cuong's live show "Motherhood 2" features the gathering of leading names in Bolero music: Famous singer and musician Ngoc Son, Famous singer Giao Linh, My Huyen, Son Tuyen and an excellent young singer who won the runner-up position in the 2019 Bolero Idol season - To Ngoc Ha. In addition to participating in the performance, Ngoc Son is also often present in Hanoi to help Duy Cuong practice his singing and performance skills.
