At the meeting, voters of localities listened to the Provincial People's Council delegates and District People's Council delegates report on the expected content, program and time of the 5th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council and the 19th District People's Council; a summary report on the socio-economic situation, national defense and security in 2017, tasks and solutions in 2018; and announcement of the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations before and after the 4th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council and the 19th District People's Council.

Voters of Quynh My commune and Cau Giat town were happy and excited with the results that the province and district achieved in 2017. At the same time, there were a number of suggestions and recommendations to the delegates of the Provincial and District People's Councils.

Mr. Hoang Truong Giang, voter of block 6, Cau Giat town, commented that currently in the block, there are 24 households living in the residential area of ​​the old Quynh Luu material company. Most of their houses have collapsed and are almost cracked. Voters are very worried and hope that the authorities will pay attention and help to plan residential land soon so that these 24 households can have permanent housing and work with peace of mind.

Regarding this issue, the Provincial People's Council delegate, Mr. Le Duc Cuong, accepted the opinion and suggested that the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district and Cau Giat town need to review the origin of land in this area. If the enterprise is not operating effectively, there should be a proposal to the superior to reclaim it for planning and solve the housing land problem for the people in the near future.

Regarding the convalescence regime for wounded soldiers, relatives of martyrs, Mr. Nguyen Dong Thanh, a voter in village 1, Quynh My commune, commented: Every year, wounded soldiers, relatives of martyrs are entitled to go to centralized convalescence, but when they return, many people report that the quality of service is not guaranteed and not worthy of the money they receive. Therefore, many people who are allowed to go to convalescence do not want to go but want to enjoy the convalescence regime at home. Regarding this matter, it is recommended that provincial departments and branches pay attention and reconsider.

Receiving voters' opinions, on behalf of the Provincial People's Council delegate, Mr. Le Duc Cuong promised to give instructions to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to review this issue.

In addition, at the meeting, voters also reflected many other opinions such as: The situation of people in block 12, Cau Giat town having to use electricity and water from businesses at high prices; degraded inner-city roads; requesting the state to pay support for housing construction for meritorious people after the houses are completed.

Currently, the allowance for police officers is so low that many people quit their jobs. Therefore, we suggest that superiors consider raising the allowance for this force so that they can work with peace of mind.

The encroachment of land in the Dao River area between Quynh Hong and Cau Giat communes has blocked the flow and caused environmental pollution. It is recommended that the province and district pay attention to speeding up the progress of land clearance for National Highway 48B so that the construction unit can soon complete the project.

Voters in Quynh My commented that some exposed power lines in hamlets 8 and 9 of Quynh My have degraded, endangering people's lives. Regarding the Nam Ha drainage system from Quynh My to hamlets 7 and Quynh Hoa, the flow is blocked, causing flooding during heavy rains. The District People's Committee is requested to pay attention to investing in dredging.

*At Quynh Minh commune, the provincial People's Council delegates including Mr. Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station and the Quynh Luu district People's Council delegates had a meeting with voters of the three communes of Quynh Minh, Quynh Nghia and Tien Thuy before the 5th session of the 19th Provincial and District People's Councils.

Voters of the three communes have made a number of proposals and recommendations such as: Increasing the number of models that enjoy the support mechanism for high-tech agricultural production; Speeding up the payment progress for compensation for site clearance for the uniform-color drainage canal project; Requesting the district to promptly inspect, review and repair severely damaged canals to serve people's production;

Pay attention to supporting more policies for salt farmers; Support for crop damage caused by storms and floods from 2016 to present has not been implemented; The use of pesticides not listed has not been controlled; Support additional funding for destroying and treating pesticide packaging.

Pay attention to promoting the completion of the sea dike road to facilitate people's travel and production. Provincial road 537 B is currently being repaired and upgraded but it is not reasonable because there is no drainage system, which will lead to continued flooding and damage to the road....

The power outage not according to the announced schedule affects the crop care of the people. It is recommended to increase the land auction rate for commune level to support the construction and completion of new rural projects.

After listening to the opinions of voters from 3 communes representing the elected provincial and district People's Council delegates at the constituency, Mr. Nguyen Nhu Khoi seriously accepted and explained a number of issues within his authority. Regarding issues not within his authority, the provincial and district People's Council delegates promised to take note, accept, and promptly forward them to the relevant authorities for resolution as soon as possible.
