Focus on building key infrastructure

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 25, under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee continued its regular meeting in April 2014 to listen to and give opinions on a number of important projects.

Attending the meeting were comrades Thai Van Hang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Huynh Thanh Dien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dinh Viet Hong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors.

The meeting participants listened to and agreed with the content of the Project on building key infrastructure in the field of urban infrastructure in the period of 2014-2020 in Nghe An province. Concluding this content, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong requested the Department of Construction to review and add items to the project to ensure urban infrastructure synchronization. It is necessary to assign specific implementation responsibilities to local sectors and units, focusing on developing a modern and synchronous urban infrastructure system in Nghe An province across the province, in order to create momentum for urban and regional development to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization of the country in general and Nghe An province in particular.

Regarding the Draft Report and Resolution submitted to the Provincial People's Council on adjusting the general planning for construction of Vinh city to 2030, with a vision to 2050, after listening to the opinions of the delegates attending the meeting, concluding this content, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong requested the Department of Construction to absorb the opinions of the delegates, complete the project to submit to the upcoming Provincial People's Council meeting.

Regarding the Project to establish a high-tech agricultural zone in Nghe An province and the Project to mobilize resources in new rural construction presented by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong emphasized: The establishment of a high-tech agricultural zone is in the spirit of Resolution 26, agreeing with the establishment of a high-tech agricultural zone in Nghia Dan district. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to develop management models for high-tech agricultural zones; complete the project and submit it to the Provincial Party Committee.
