(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 25th, under the chairmanship of Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee continued its regular April 2014 meeting to hear and give opinions on several important projects.

Attending the meeting were comrades Thai Van Hang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Huynh Thanh Dien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dinh Viet Hong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and representatives of the leaders of departments, boards, and agencies.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong delivered a speech at the meeting.

The meeting participants listened to and agreed on the content of the Project for the construction of key urban infrastructure in Nghe An province for the period 2014-2020. Concluding this discussion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Xuan Duong, requested the Department of Construction to review and supplement the project with additional items to ensure the synchronization of urban infrastructure. Specific responsibilities should be assigned to local departments and units, focusing on developing a modern and synchronized urban infrastructure system throughout Nghe An province. This aims to create momentum for urban and regional development, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization of the country in general and Nghe An province in particular.

Regarding the Draft Report and Resolution to be submitted to the Provincial People's Council on adjusting the general planning for the construction of Vinh City until 2030, with a vision to 2050, after hearing the contributions of the delegates attending the meeting, concluding on this matter, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong requested the Department of Construction to incorporate the delegates' opinions and finalize the proposal for submission to the upcoming session of the Provincial People's Council.

Regarding the Project on establishing a High-Tech Agricultural Zone in Nghe An province and the Project on mobilizing resources in building new rural areas presented by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong emphasized: The establishment of a high-tech agricultural zone is in line with Resolution 26, and the establishment of a High-Tech Agricultural Zone in Nghia Dan district is approved. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to develop management models for the high-tech agricultural zone and finalize the project for submission to the Provincial Party Standing Committee.
