Implementing Politburo Decisions 217 and 218

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 27th, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc held a conference to disseminate and implement Decision 217 on promulgating the regulations on social supervision and criticism by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political-social organizations; and Decision 218-QĐ/TW, dated December 12, 2013, of the Politburo on promulgating regulations on the participation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, political-social organizations, and the people in contributing opinions to the building of the Party and the government.

The participants included secretaries, heads of mass organizations, and speakers from affiliated grassroots Party organizations.

At the conference, delegates listened to Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Provincial Party Committee member and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc, explain and clarify the importance, significance, effects, and basic content of the decisions. She emphasized that these are important documents aimed at strongly promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political and social organizations in monitoring, conducting social criticism, and contributing to building a clean and strong Party, government, and political system. They also serve as an important basis, condition, and tool for the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political and social organizations to effectively perform their functions and tasks, enhance their role as the political foundation of the people's government, and contribute even more to the construction and development of the country.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong directed and assigned responsibility to the secretaries of grassroots Party committees to implement and disseminate the directives to cadres and Party members in their respective agencies and units.
