(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 18, the Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense delegation led by Major General Doan Quang Hoa - Director of the Policy Department of the Ministry of National Defense came to offer incense and flowers at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery.
This is an activity towards the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2023), 34th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2023).
Joining the delegation were Colonel Vo Van Hai - Deputy Chief of Politics of Military Region 4; Military Region Policy Department; Colonel Pham Dinh Trung - Deputy Political Commissar of Nghe An Provincial Military Command; and local authorities of Anh Son district.

At the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery, the delegation of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense offered flowers and incense at the Temple of Uncle Ho and the heroic martyrs, expressing their respect and infinite gratitude for his great contributions in dedicating his entire life to the cause of liberating the Vietnamese nation.
The Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery is located next to Highway 7A, in Block 5, Anh Son Town. This is the eternal resting place of nearly 11,000 martyrs who are Vietnamese volunteers and experts who fought on the fronts of Laos. The sacrifices of Vietnamese volunteers contributed to the victory of the Lao revolution, adding to the steadfast, eternally lasting love of the two brotherly peoples of Vietnam and Laos.
