Quang Hai is about to join a French team

Rumors about Quang Hai's new team have been circulating in recent days when on his personal page, he posted a picture of himself standing by the Seine River in Paris (France). This is quite a coincidence because some Chinese and French newspapers also reported that Quang Hai could play for a team playing in the French National Championship, Ligue 1.

The identity of the team when announced may surprise many people. But one thing is certain, Quang Hai himself chose and made the decision among many teams that wanted to sign a contract with him.

Nguyen Quang Hai's representative, Mr. Nguyen Dac Van, also said that finance is not Quang Hai's biggest goal when going to Europe. Therefore, he also carefully chooses a new team to ensure good professional requirements.

“We only present options and Quang Hai himself evaluates and chooses to make a decision. I can confirm with certainty that the contract with the new team is purely a professional matter. The club feels that it needs a player like Quang Hai in that position and Quang Hai himself also feels that it is suitable. There is no such thing as ‘branding’ or doing business,” said Mr. Van.

According to Mr. Nguyen Dac Van, the negotiation process was favorable, but to ensure 100% of the contract is signed, Quang Hai needs to pass the physical test. This is a procedural step before the club signs a contract with the player. The contract is for more than 1 year with a very good salary for Quang Hai. After completing his work in Paris, Quang Hai returned to Vietnam. He needs to apply for a work visa to be able to return to France to sign the contract, in time to prepare for the new season.

It is known that during the working process between the two sides, the new club's leadership also pointed out the professional issues that Quang Hai needs to improve as well as his strengths. Vietnamese players are considered weak in pressing, Quang Hai also does not have good height, but in return, the technique and vision of the midfielder from Dong Anh are considered very good.

Mourinho wants to reunite with Ronaldo

According to La Repubblica, AS Roma is considered one of Ronaldo's potential destinations. The Portuguese superstar could reunite with coach Jose Mourinho, who played alongside him for three seasons at Real Madrid, from 2010 to 2013.

Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, has a good relationship with Mourinho. Currently, Roma owns two players under the management of the Portuguese "super agent": Rui Patricio and Sergio Oliveira.

A few days ago, the Europa Conference League champions announced the signing of a former "Red Devil", Nemanja Matic. The midfielder, born in 1988, joined the Olimpico club at the invitation of Mourinho, who was described by the Italian media as "wanting to shock by signing Ronaldo" in the summer of 2022.

Regarding the current situation of building the Vietnamese national team brand in recent times and the orientation of building a brand development strategy in the coming time, Deputy Secretary General Nguyen Minh Chau of VFF reported to the Conference: “2017 marked the successes of Vietnamese football in the international arena, after a long-term investment process and focusing on youth football. The great results at the regional and continental levels marked a period of prosperity for Vietnamese football. That raises the issue of the need for strategic and long-term investment to develop world football integration towards the 2026 World Cup”.

Specifically, in terms of goals and visions, from 2023 to 2025, the Vietnam National Team strives to be in the top 8 of Asia as well as participating in the final qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup. In 2026 and 2030, Vietnam strives to participate in the World Cup finals as well as being in the top 7 of Asia. The Vietnam women's team aims to be in the top 4 of Asia. In the period from 2027 to 2031, the women's team will have a plan to host the World Cup finals.
