Quang Teo corrects rumors of conflict with Giang Coi

When it comes to Northern comedy artists, everyone knows the “perfect duo” Quang Teo and Giang Coi. Thanks to their harmonious and humorous performances, the artist duo brings a lot of laughter to the audience from skits in Gap Nhau Cuoi Tuan, Gala Cuoi of VFC to the year-end Tet comedy discs.

Recently, Meritorious Artist Tien Quang (Quang Teo) spoke up about this rumor onVTC News.

Actor Quang Teo said that because of his busy life, he and artist Giang Coi do not see each other often. However, the two still invite each other to perform when there are shows.

“… Sometimes we don’t see each other for several months, but sometimes we see each other 4 or 5 times a month,” the “barefoot tycoon” affirmed that there is no conflict with his close co-star.

He said that before, he and his friend of the same age worked in two different units: he was an actor at the Army Drama Theater, and Giang worked at Hanoi Television Station.

The two became "best friends" thanks to director Khai Hung pairing them up when the show Meet at the Weekend was released.

“Since then, we have become close friends, not only on stage but also in real life. When performing together, we easily catch each other’s rhythm, one tossing the other catching the ball very well,” Meritorious Artist Quang Teo confided.

Besides sharing about his co-stars of the same age, Meritorious Artist Quang Teo also "revealed" his income when performing.

According to the male artist, his monthly income is not fixed, depending on the number of shows he accepts each month, as well as the "luxury" of the event, but "the amount of money he makes performing each show is equal to a month's salary of the security guard in my apartment building".

The Northern comedian determined that "saving money" and not playing around or causing trouble would be enough to have enough money to take care of his children who are still in school age and his wife who is a housewife.

Meritorious Artist Quang Teo emphasized that he is very proud of himself for being able to devote himself to his career while not letting his wife and children lack anything.
