Working with the district's Steering Committee for New Rural Development, comrade Dinh Viet Hong highly appreciated the efforts of Que Phong district. Being one of the poorest districts in the country, but thanks to efforts, promoting internal resources and taking advantage of support from businesses after 5 years of building New Rural Development, Que Phong has had many changes.
However, up to now, 14/14 communes and towns of Que Phong have not reached the NTM finish line, the district has not yet built NTM according to the 2011-2015 roadmap. To achieve the set goal, the district needs to focus on propaganda work, so that people are clearly aware of their role in building NTM. Focus on developing production, replicating and transferring effective models to contribute to increasing income and reducing the poverty rate.
For criteria that have not been met, it is necessary to develop a specific plan, assign tasks to members of the Steering Committee responsible for criteria in their professional fields; select pilot villages and communes with the potential to pioneer in building new rural areas; organize the mobilization and integration of resources to build new rural areas, and strive to complete the targets of building new rural areas in the period of 2016 - 2020./.
