The workshop program will help grassroots women gain basic knowledge about building and establishing new models to support women's economic development. It will help build models for occupational groups, create linkages to establish stability in raw materials and product output, and generate stable income for women within these groups.

Que Phong is a mountainous district with over 90% ethnic minority population, and it is also the cradle of many traditional handicraft villages such as brocade weaving and rattan and bamboo weaving. However, over time, the traditional crafts of the ethnic minorities have gradually faded away. In recent years, Que Phong district has been making efforts to restore and develop these traditional crafts.
