Que Phong cooperates in afforestation with the largest wood processing factory in Southeast Asia

(Baonghean.vn) - Que Phong will cooperate with Nghe An Wood Processing Factory to plant production forests to provide raw materials for this largest wood processing factory in Southeast Asia.

On November 5, leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Committee of Que Phong district, representatives of departments, secretaries, and chairmen of 14 communes and towns in the district visited Nghe An Wood Processing Factory, May Forestry Joint Stock Company, in Nghia Hoi commune (Nghia Dan).

According to statistics, Que Phong has more than 60,000 hectares of forest land in production planning. However, half of this area has not been used effectively.

After visiting the acacia wood raw material area in Quy Hop, visiting the factory, as well as the wood production line, Chairman of Que Phong District People's Committee Le Van Giap said he would direct commune units and enterprises to promote the planting of acacia raw materials.

Que Phong will cooperate in planting raw material forests with Nghe An Wood Processing Factory.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Vinh, General Director of May Forestry Joint Stock Company promised to coordinate with the district to implement the planting of raw materials, and have mechanisms to support techniques, seeds, fertilizers... for people to grow acacia wood, meeting the demand for wood production.
