The National Assembly officially approved 3 Deputy Prime Ministers and 18 new ministers.
This morning (April 9), the National Assembly approved the Prime Minister's proposal to appoint 21 members of the Government by secret ballot.
Previously, with a majority of votes, 21 central committee members were elected to new positions in the Government.

Thus, based on the session's rules, the National Assembly agreed to elect the above-mentioned men to new positions.
With Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh and Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam not on the list of dismissals, the personnel structure of deputy prime ministers in the Government remains at 5 people.

The resolution approving the Prime Minister's proposal on the appointment of a number of Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers and other members of the Government, presented by National Assembly Secretary General Nguyen Hanh Phuc, was later passed by the National Assembly with more than 90% of the votes in favor.
In addition to 20 heads of various fields who have resigned,Minister of HealthNguyen Thi Kim Tien, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat, and Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung continue in their positions.

Also on April 9, in addition to personnel restructuring, the National Assembly also voted to pass the Resolution on land use planning for the 2016-2020 period, voted to pass the draft Law on signing, joining and implementing international treaties (amended) and voted to pass the Resolution approving the diplomatic note on visa issuance between Vietnam and the US.
