(Baonghean.vn) - At around 9 a.m. on September 23, the entire Belgian Parliament was thrown into chaos by reports of a bomb planted inside the Parliament building.

According to RTBF, immediately after receiving an anonymous bomb threat, a large number of police officers and sniffer dogs were deployed to the parliament building to handle the situation and evacuate all staff to safety. Fortunately, only a few staff members were present at the time of the incident.

After hours of thorough searching, police said they found no suspicious signs. By approximately 11:30 a.m., congressional staff were able to return to normal work. Police are currently investigating who the anonymous bomb threat came from within the Capitol building.
