The 14th National Assembly questioned Government members for the first time.
This week, the National Assembly will question the Prime Minister and four ministers of Industry and Trade, Home Affairs, Natural Resources and Environment, and Education and Training.
On the morning of November 14, the National Assembly discussed the draft Law on Irrigation in the hall. In the afternoon of the same day, the National Assembly held a separate meeting to give opinions on the draft Resolution on stopping the implementation of the Ninh Thuan Nuclear Power Plant Construction Project; and listened to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh present a report on the situation in the East Sea.
On November 15, the National Assembly entered the question-and-answer session with sessions broadcast live on television and radio. The Prime Minister and the Ministers of Industry and Trade, Home Affairs, Natural Resources and Environment, and Education and Training will answer questions from delegates. This is the first time the 14th National Assembly has questioned members of the Government. This activity will last for 2.5 days.

Secretary General of the National Assembly Nguyen Hanh Phuc said that during the process of ministers answering questions, the Deputy Prime Ministers in charge of the field can participate in explaining and clarifying the content of the delegates' concerns. The Prime Minister will speak on the morning of November 17, lasting about half a day.
On the afternoon of November 17, if the National Assembly agrees, the vote to pass the draft Law on Associations will be carried out. Previously, according to Minister of Home Affairs Le Vinh Tan, due to many opinions on the draft law, the Drafting Committee requested more time to study, complete, and submit the draft in the next session instead of passing it at this session.
