The Provincial Children's Protection Fund receives gifts from benefactors.

(Baonghean.vn) –On August 6th, the Nghe An Provincial Children's Protection Fund held a ceremony to receive a donation of 1.5 billion VND from Mr. Dang Khac Vy, a businessman from Nghe An province, for children with congenital heart disease.Attending the handover ceremony were Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Children's Protection Fund's Board of Trustees; and leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

Mr. Dang Khac Vy is a businessman from Nghe An province, currently working in the Russian Federation. During his business trips back to his hometown, he visited children undergoing rehabilitation, physical therapy, and autism spectrum disorder treatment at the Provincial Children's Protection Fund. In 2012, he donated 1 billion VND to the Fund, enabling the Fund and hospitals/cardiology centers to perform heart surgery on nearly 60 children. To date, the children's health and post-operative issues are generally stable. Based on this success, this year he is continuing to donate 1.5 billion VND to support children in the province who still suffer from congenital heart disease.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, thanked Mr. Dang Khac Vy for his generosity and also informed him about some aspects of the province's policy implementation for those still facing difficulties. He emphasized that the charitable acts of businessmen like Mr. Dang Khac Vy, who give back to their hometowns, are highly commendable and worthy of praise.

During the ceremony, Mr. Dang Khac Vy expressed his gratitude for the concern shown by the provincial leaders and the Provincial Children's Protection Fund in caring for and providing opportunities for disabled children and children with heart disease. Following the handover ceremony and the positive actions taken by Nghe An province, Mr. Vy stated that there will be even more charitable activities in the future.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong presented a letter of thanks from the Provincial People's Committee to Mr. Dang Khac Vy for his "generous heart for children."

Also at this event, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Children's Protection Fund's Board of Trustees - on behalf of the provincial leadership, presented 70 gifts to children receiving treatment at the Provincial Children's Protection Fund. He also respectfully presented a commemorative medal and a letter of thanks from the Provincial People's Committee to businessman Dang Khac Vy for his "generous heart for children".
