Chau Thang commune has more than 6km of medium voltage power lines, mainly running through hills and forests. To ensure electrical safety during the rainy and stormy season, the Chau Thang commune government has coordinated with Quy Chau Electricity to inspect and review unsafe power lines and warn people not to go near them. At the same time, they have coordinated with people to regularly trim tree branches and relocate unsafe structures in the power grid corridor.

Quy Chau district has nearly 119 km of medium voltage power lines with 64 transformer stations and since the beginning of the year, there have been 8 incidents related to network safety. However, people's limited knowledge about electricity and electricity usage makes it difficult to ensure network safety.
