In Nghe An, there are currently 20 international travel agencies and 40 domestic travel agencies, of which 20 have registered their business through the authorities; 20 agencies operate seasonally, causing many difficulties for the authorities in controlling and managing.
At the workshop, delegates gave many opinions focusing on the goal of creating favorable conditions as well as a strict legal corridor so that the activities of travel agencies are in compliance with regulations, avoiding disadvantages for tourists, and at the same time not affecting the image of tourism activities and the activities of genuine travel agencies.

Some delegates are concerned that the regulation that all contracts must be signed in writing is inappropriate, causing difficulties for businesses and customers in the current conditions of e-commerce and online activities that have become popular trends.

Concluding the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien - Chairman of Nghe An Tourism Association stated: The Draft Decree and Circular have removed some conditions with more open regulations and simpler procedures, but at the same time also tightened some conditions.
Travel businesses need to promptly grasp new regulations to ensure legal operations and provide tourists with the most convenient travel services.
