"Support" people in difficulty
Visiting the family of Ms. Vi Thi Tuyet (60 years old), a poor household in Na An village, Chau Thanh commune (Quy Hop), we felt her joy and happiness when she moved to a new house.
Talking about the new house built with support from the Commune Fatherland Front Committee, organizations and benefactors, Ms. Tuyet happily said: “I live alone, my son works far away, sometimes he has work, sometimes he doesn’t. For many years, my son and I have lived in a makeshift, dilapidated and unsafe house. The family’s main income depends on a few fields of rice, life is lacking in every way, we don’t have enough to eat so we don’t dare think about having a solid house to live in. With the attention of the locality and benefactors to build a new, spacious house, my son and I are extremely happy, from now on we don’t have to worry about the rainy and stormy season anymore.”

Le Dinh Du, a 6th grader at Ha Son Secondary School (Quy Hop), could not hide his emotion when receiving a new bicycle: “My family is very poor, my father works for hire everywhere to earn money to take care of my elderly grandparents and my two siblings. Given the circumstances, I dare not ask for anything more. My house is 5km from school, and I walk to school every day. I never thought I would have a new bicycle like this. I am very grateful to the authorities, sectors and benefactors and promise to continue to strive to study hard to become a good child and good student.”
