Quy Hop successfully completed the district defense area exercise mission in 2024.

The Quy Hop district defense area exercise with the theme: Moving armed forces into combat readiness states, moving localities into defense states; organizing preparations and practicing combat, firmly protecting the district defense area was conducted in 3 stages including: Moving armed forces into combat readiness states, moving localities into defense states; Organizing preparations for defensive operations; Practicing defensive operations. Practical troops mobilized to receive the district's reserve mobilization company; Practical troops to prevent mass gatherings, disrupt security, riots and counter-terrorism; Practical troops of infantry companies ambushing.

With the efforts of the Party Committee and the government, promoting the role of the entire political system in preparing and organizing the exercise, the 2024 Quy Hop district defense area exercise was highly appreciated by the Provincial Exercise Steering Committee, all exercise contents were completed well, many contents completed the task excellently. The unit was absolutely safe in terms of people and weapons and equipment.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the exercise, Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Exercise emphasized: Through the exercise of the defense area of ​​Quy Hop district, it can be affirmed that the awareness of the Party Committee and the government on the task of national defense and security has been raised and experiences have been drawn from both theory and practice in building the district defense area, as well as serving the task of socio-economic development associated with ensuring national defense and security in the current situation. The results of the exercise are the basis for continuing to build, consolidate and strengthen the potentials and positions in the district and provincial defense areas; build armed forces, mobilize the strength of the entire people; at the same time build and supplement combat plans and technical infrastructure to be ready to respond to situations that arise.

In addition, the Commander of the Provincial Military Command also requested the Organizing Committee of the Quy Hop District Defense Area Exercise after completing the exercise task, to seriously evaluate and draw lessons, thereby improving the quality of training, combat readiness, exercises as well as the quality of military and defense work; the work of organizing coordination and cooperation between forces in performing defense and security tasks in the locality. Organize the collection of weapons, ammunition, and explosives used on the training ground and training grounds; preserve and maintain weapons, equipment, vehicles and manage exercise documents in accordance with regulations.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quy Hop district commended 8 collectives and 27 individuals for excellently completing the tasks of the Quy Hop district defense area exercise in 2024./.
