Quy Hop donated a set of musical instruments of the Tho ethnic group to the Ho Chi Minh Museum.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 31, Quy Hop District Party Committee held a handover ceremony of a set of musical instruments of the Tho ethnic group in Quy Hop district (Nghe An) to the Ho Chi Minh Museum to serve the exhibition "Simple but noble examples" in 2022.
Attending the handover ceremony were comrades: Vu Manh Ha - Director of Ho Chi Minh Museum; Tran Quoc Khanh - Deputy Head of Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; Phan Dinh Dat - Secretary of Quy Hop District Party Committee.
On this occasion, Quy Hop district presented a set of musical instruments of the Tho ethnic group of Quy Hop district with 11 artifacts including gongs, drums, đàn tính, flutes... to the Ho Chi Minh Museum in time to serve the exhibition "Simple but noble examples" in 2022 towards the 132nd anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday.

Musical instrument setTho ethnic groupQuy Hop district donated to Ho Chi Minh Museum this time collected by artisan Truong Thanh Hai (Nghia Xuan commune). It is known that Mr. Truong Thanh Hai is one of the typical examples of Nghe An province, who has devoted much effort to preserving and promoting intangible folk cultural values for the local Tho people.

The exhibition is also an opportunity for the Party Committee and people of Quy Hop to introduce to the public nationwide the history and culture of the Tho ethnic group in Quy Hop - one of seven districts nationwide selected by the Ministry of Culture - Information and the People's Committee of Nghe An province to direct the construction of a key district for mountainous and ethnic minority culture, period 2001 - 2011./.
