Quynh Dien received the Certificate of recognition for meeting new rural standards

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 30, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Quynh Dien Commune (Quynh Luu) solemnly held a ceremony to receive the certificate of recognition of the commune meeting the New Rural Standards. Attending the event were comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in Nghe An.

After 4 years of building the new rural area, Quynh Dien has completed 19/19 criteria with a total investment capital for building the new rural area of ​​151.2 billion VND, of which the people contributed 86.80 billion VND, accounting for 57.4%. Up to now, 8.1/8.1 km of commune roads and 3.9/3.9 km of village roads have been asphalted; 15.7 km of village alleys in the entire commune have been concreted, 17.3/17.3 km of internal traffic have been hardened....

Comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Certificate of recognition for Quynh Dien commune meeting NTM standards.

The commune has shifted its economic structure in the right direction, production value has increased rapidly, in 2011 the average income reached 15.5 million VND/person/year, and in 2015 it reached 25.6 million VND/person/year. Maintaining traditional craft villages well, introducing new occupations to the locality such as rattan and bamboo weaving for export, incense production... contributing to improving people's lives. The poverty rate is below 2%. Education levels meet national standards; the commune meets the national criteria for Health. 5/6 hamlets are cultural units...

The export rattan and bamboo weaving industry is strongly developed locally. It is concentrated in two craft villages: Thuan Hoa and Dong Van.

At the ceremony, Mr. Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the results that Quynh Dien achieved in the movement of building new rural areas. In the coming time, the commune needs to promote the achieved results, further enhance the role and responsibility of the Party Committee, village and hamlet authorities in building new rural areas.

On this occasion, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Viet Hong awarded the Certificate of recognition of the commune meeting the NTM standards to Quynh Dien commune; and the Certificate of recognition of Thuan Hoa export rattan and bamboo craft village. 3 collectives and 4 individuals of Quynh Dien commune were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee.

Quynh Luu District People's Committee also awarded certificates of merit to individuals and collectives of Quynh Dien commune for their outstanding achievements in the new rural construction movement.

Thu Huong
