(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of September 20th, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district, in coordination with Son Hai commune, held a ceremony to hand over a charitable house to two orphaned children in Hamlet 11, Son Hai commune.

Nguyen Thi Nga, a sixth-grade student from Hamlet 11, Son Hai Commune, and her older sister, Nguyen Thi Hang, are orphans who have lived for many years in a small, dilapidated house that they cannot afford to repair. To help alleviate their plight, Quynh Luu District has allocated 35 million VND from its Children's Protection Fund, 10 million VND from the District Association for the Protection of Disabled People and Orphans, 20 million VND from the Provincial Association for the Protection of Disabled People and Orphans, 3 million VND from the Buddhist Association of Yen Thai Pagoda in Son Hai Commune, and with the support of various levels of government, organizations, and local people, to help the two sisters build a new house.

To date, after nearly two months of construction, the charity house, designed with two rooms and an area of ​​40 square meters, has been completed.2 With a total value of nearly 80 million VND, the project has been completed. Living in a new, spacious, and sturdy house, Nguyen Thi Nga was truly moved and expressed her gratitude for the concern of the Party, the State, and all levels, sectors, and organizations that have created conditions to help her and her sister have a more stable life.
