Quynh Luu: Former students present gifts to express gratitude to the school.
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of May 28th, during the closing ceremony of the 2012-2013 school year at Quynh Luu 3 High School (Quynh Luu district), former students of the school currently working in Vung Tau City and Bien Hoa City organized a gift-giving ceremony for the school and expressed their gratitude to the teachers.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuan, Director of Thien Nam Son Co., Ltd. located in Bien Hoa City (Dong Nai province), a former student of the school from the 1986-1989 graduating class, donated 400 million VND to the school to purchase teaching equipment; the Quynh Luu 3 Alumni Association, currently working at the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Vung Tau City), presented 20 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to underprivileged students who excelled academically.

Quynh Luu 3 High School currently has 39 classes with nearly 2,000 students. After almost 40 years since its establishment, the school has educated many generations of successful and accomplished students. In gratitude for the guidance and teaching of the teachers, every year during the opening of the new school year or the end of the school year, the Alumni Association organizes many activities to support the school.
In addition to the commemorative activities, the Alumni Association of the Petroleum Corporation is sponsoring 5 billion VND (out of a total project value of 6 billion VND) to build 12 classrooms across 3 floors to serve the school's teaching and learning activities; other alumni also contribute 200-300 million VND annually to scholarships for outstanding students and underprivileged students who overcome difficulties.
