Quynh Luu: More than 2,000 people joined forces to do irrigation work.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 4, Quynh Luu district coordinated with Quynh Luu Irrigation Enterprise to launch irrigation work on two main canals, Do Luong and canal 32.

Responding to this irrigation campaign, there are 3 participating units including: Nguyen Duc Mau High School registered to mobilize 1,500 teachers and students to participate in dredging 2km of N24 canal belonging to the main Do Luong canal system through Quynh Ngoc commune;The North Nghe An Technical Economic Vocational College mobilized more than 600 officers and students to participate in dredging more than 2 km of drainage canal in Quynh My commune; Tank Brigade 215 mobilized 130 officers and soldiers to help people dredge and clear grass and bushes of canal 32 in Quynh Chau commune.

After nearly 1 day of operation, the units dredged up to 1,000 m of mud and soil.³, more than 2,000 m²mass of cleared grass, water hyacinth.
