Quynh Luu: More than 4 billion VND to restore Thoi Temple
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 21, Son Hai commune, Quynh Luu district held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Thoi Temple.
Thoi Temple - Son Hai Commune was built in the late 13th century, worshiping the Four Holy Ladies and the gods who guard the river area. Through many historical ups and downs and the devastation of war, Thoi Temple was severely damaged, some items were converted into other works, only a part of the three-entrance gate remains.

From the desire to restore Thoi Temple to serve the spiritual and religious needs of the people in the area, to pray for peace and blessings for fishermen before each trip to sea, with the permission of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the consensus of the people, Son Hai commune started construction of Thoi Temple with a budget of more than 4 billion VND.
The funding source is mobilized from social resources, mainly from contributions from boat owners and captains. It is expected that after 3 years the project will be completed and put into use.
