Quynh Luu: Responding to lifelong learning week

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 2, at Quynh Doi commune, the Department of Education and Training of Quynh Luu district organized the Opening Ceremony of the Lifelong Learning Week 2014. Also attending were leaders of the Department of Education and Training, the Learning Promotion Association, representatives of several departments and many teachers of the Community Learning Center in the district.

Overview of the ceremony

With the theme "Learning for yourself and those around you to be happy", the lifelong learning response week aims to raise awareness among the people about lifelong learning and building a learning society; helping educational institutions and non-school educational institutions improve their ability to apply education with the goal of convenient learning, diverse in form and rich in content, suitable to the needs of the community. Creating opportunities for people of all ages to gain basic knowledge to continue to improve their knowledge.

Teacher Le Thanh Hien - Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Quynh Luu said that this is the fourth year that the Lifelong Learning Response Week has been implemented in Quynh Luu. From this week, many localities in the district will simultaneously respond, organize learning promotion activities and build lifelong learning models in families, clans and communities. Especially the activities of the Community Learning Centers of communes and towns, propaganda, mobilization, and encouragement of all classes of people to learn.
