Quynh Luu: Opening ceremony for the Intermediate-level Political and Administrative Theory course.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 16, 2015, the Nghe An Provincial Political School, in coordination with the Quynh Luu Political Training Center, held the opening ceremony for the 17th Intermediate-level Political and Administrative Theory course (part-time study) (2015-2016), for prospective cadres, cadres in the planning stage from departments, agencies, mass organizations, and management cadres in the district.

Overview of the opening ceremony

This is the second part-time intermediate-level political and administrative theory course in Quynh Luu, implemented according to the new training program of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. Under the new program, the study time will be shortened from 16 semesters to 12 semesters. Between 2015 and 2016, students will study 7 modules with nearly 600 hours of instruction. At the end of the course, only 20% of students with the best academic and training results will be allowed to write a graduation thesis, while the rest will take a graduation exam.

Through the course, students are equipped with fundamental theoretical knowledge including: basic issues of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought; basic issues concerning the Communist Party, the State, and socialist law in Vietnam; some basic contents in the viewpoints, guidelines, and policies of the Party and State on economics, culture, foreign affairs, national defense and security; leadership and management skills, etc. Besides theoretical learning, students also participate in field trips and research to write essays. This will provide a theoretical foundation to help students creatively apply their knowledge to practical work, thereby enhancing their leadership, management, and organizational skills.

* On the same afternoon, the Nghe An Provincial Political School, in coordination with the Quynh Luu Political Training Center, held the closing ceremony for the 15th Intermediate-level Political and Administrative Theory course (part-time study) (2013-2015). Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Viet Linh - Deputy Principal of the Nghe An Provincial Political School, along with 79 students.

After 16 semesters of study and research, the Principal decided to recognize and award diplomas to all 79/79 students in the Intermediate level of Political and Administrative Theory, including 15 students (19%) who graduated with excellent grades and 62 students (78.5%) who graduated with good grades.
