(Baonghean.vn) -On the night of August 19th, the family of Mr. Hoang Quang Vinh (born in 1972, residing in Hamlet 5, Quynh Xuan Commune) had their door broken into by thieves who stole over 400 kg of packaged dried Sophora japonica flowers, worth approximately 60 million VND.

The Quỳnh Lưu District Police and Quỳnh Xuân Commune Police quickly launched an investigation. After screening suspected individuals, Bùi Duy Nghị emerged as a key suspect. Through intense questioning, at 2 PM on August 21st, Nghị confessed to the theft. Bùi Duy Nghị (born in 1982, residing in Quỳnh Lương Commune) had been imprisoned twice for theft. After his release, he resumed his "professional" thievery. His equipment for stealing included a hammock, clothes, toothpaste, and even dried food so that if he didn't manage to steal anything, he could... sleep in the hammock, wake up, brush his teeth, eat breakfast, and then continue stealing.
