(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 28, the Quynh Luu District Labor Federation coordinated with the District General Hospital to organize free medical examinations and medicine distribution for workers of companies in Quynh Luu District.

This time, more than 200 workers from 4 enterprises including Minh Quang Co., Ltd., Luu Hong Co., Thai Binh Nguyen Co., Ltd. and Truong Thinh Co., Ltd. had their blood pressure measured by doctors from all departments of the district hospital and examined for diseases of the heart, joints, liver, lungs, eyes and skin. At the same time, they were advised on how to prevent common diseases for workers working in the environmental and construction sectors.

Distribute and instruct workers on medication use.

This is an annual activity of the Labor Federation and the district hospital to take care of the health of workers. Thereby, creating conditions for workers to examine, detect and treat diseases promptly, contributing to the care and protection of health, improving the physical strength of workers.

At the medical examination and medicine distribution session, the Quynh Luu District Labor Federation also presented 4 gifts to poor workers in especially difficult circumstances at the companies and 5 gifts to children of poor workers who have overcome difficulties to study well, each gift worth 500,000 VND./.
