Quynh Luu is a land with a long history of formation and development, one of the cradles of ancient Vietnamese culture. It is the birthplace of many outstanding revolutionary figures, famous personalities, talented poets, and musicians. With its abundant natural resources and rich cultural and historical traditions, it possesses rich and diverse tourism potential. From the archaeological remains of the Quynh Van culture, dating back over 6000 years – one of the cradles deeply imbued with ancient Vietnamese culture – to a series of national and provincial historical and cultural relics, the area is further enhanced by its sacred and culturally rich heritage.

Currently, Quynh Doi commune is implementing a roadmap to build a model new rural commune. This modelism also lies in preserving and promoting the rich system of historical, cultural, and revolutionary relics in the area. Of the 29 relics in the entire district that have been classified (14 national-level relics, 15 provincial-level relics), Quynh Doi alone has 9 classified historical relics, including 8 national-level relics. These include the Than Temple, the Village communal house, the ancestral temples of the Ho, Nguyen, and Hoang families, the memorial area of ​​the female poet Ho Xuan Huong, the temple and tomb of Quynh Quan Cong Ho Phi Tich; the tomb and temple of the revolutionary Ho Tung Mau... To preserve and promote the value of these historical and cultural relics, Quynh Doi has restored many activities, such as the Spring Calligraphy Festival held on the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year; the Ky Phuc Festival...

Besides the "historical site" of Quynh Doi, other localities in Quynh Luu district also have historical relics and destinations for spiritual tourism tours "returning to the roots," such as Quy Linh Temple (Quynh Luong), Thuong Temple (Quynh Nghia), Cua Gan Temple (Quynh Hoa), Voi Temple (Quynh Hong), Cong Temple (Quynh Hung), the temple dedicated to the scholar Ho Hung Dat and the Ho kings (Ngoc Son), the eight-roofed communal house (Quynh Thuan), Nhu Ba village communal house (Quynh Ba)... and festivals held at the beginning of spring such as the Fishing Festival of the local fishermen, Thuong Temple Festival, Quy Linh Temple Festival... creating unique features for the culture of Quynh land.

It can be said that, with its potential and strengths in natural tourism resources and rich cultural tourism identity, Quynh Luu possesses all the elements for the development of tourism economy. Besides being a land of spiritual significance and outstanding people with a long history and rich cultural identity, and a high density of historical, cultural, and revolutionary relics, Quynh Luu also boasts a 19.5 km long coastline with flat, clean, fine sand, clear blue water, and gentle waves. Tourists will feel refreshed when immersing themselves in the waves at Quynh Nghia, Quynh Bang, and Quynh Luong beaches, and enjoying local seafood specialties with their unique flavors.

It seems that investors have quickly recognized the potential and prospects of Quynh Luu, and its future as a dynamic and developing economic region, especially in marine and tourism-service industries. Therefore, they have been actively seeking investment opportunities here. Within the Quynh coastal planning area in Quynh Nghia commune, a high-end resort complex developed by Thien Nam Son Co., Ltd. has completed its first phase, ready for the opening of the 2015 Quynh coastal tourism season. The impressive, luxurious buildings, seamlessly integrated with the completed infrastructure and services, stand out against the beautiful coastline. As a native of Quynh Thuan, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuan, Director of Thien Nam Son Company and owner of the Quynh Resort project, wants to contribute a large-scale project to his hometown, stimulating investment in the area. It's not just coastal areas that attract investor interest; in the ongoing trend of "returning to our roots" and showing respect to our ancestors, historical and cultural relics are also being strongly socialized and effectively promoted. Lam Son Pagoda, located in Quynh Yen commune, is undergoing grand restoration and construction with all the planned components. In phase 1, covering approximately 5,500 m2, the main building, West and East halls, bell tower, and triple-arched gate have been completed. Preparations are underway for the construction of the Ancestral Hall, drum tower, and other auxiliary structures, with a budget of nearly 100 billion VND. With its ancient architecture and structure entirely made of precious wood, a new, large-scale, and magnificent pagoda with its own unique features stands amidst the peaceful countryside, built on the foundation of the old Lam Son Pagoda. Along with An Thai Pagoda (Quynh Long), Yen Thai Pagoda (Son Hai), and other projects currently being prepared for investment, restoration, and reconstruction such as De Thich Pagoda (Quynh Nghia), Am Oc Pagoda (Tien Thuy), and Dong Yen Pagoda (Quynh Thuan), these will create a rich and diverse spiritual culture for the district.

The district and communes' initiatives, heartfelt invitations, and calls to action are attracting investors and philanthropists who share a common goal of contributing to building a prosperous and strong Quynh Luu, with a focus on developing and effectively exploiting tourism as a key economic driver.

Making a mark on "Quynh Beach Tourism - 2015"

With the aim of making an early impression on the tourism potential of Quynh Luu in general and Quynh beach tourism in particular to the general public and tourists nationwide, thereby attracting and promoting investment in the tourism economy in which the district has strengths, the opening of Quynh beach tourism will be held on April 30th and May 1st and will last for 5 days, starting from April 28th. The event will include cultural and artistic activities, sports, a Quynh beach beauty contest, a food festival, and boat races with the participation of communes, towns, professional art troupes in the province, and famous singers from across the country, satisfying tourists visiting Quynh Luu during the opening ceremony. Quynh Resort – the main venue for the opening ceremony – has been completed, with a beachfront stage, guesthouses, restaurants, and bars serving thousands of tourists simultaneously. Notably, the entire beach has been screened for sand, creating a striking and attractive feature. Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuan stated: "The district's selection of Quynh Resort as the main venue for the opening of the 2015 tourism season is an honor and a source of pride, but also a great responsibility for us, the sons and daughters of this homeland, who always look towards our hometown and, together with the people of our homeland, 'awaken' the tourism potential of Quynh beach."
