Quynh Luu exports 200 tons of resin each year.
(Baonghean.vn) - Quynh Luu currently has more than 3,000 hectares of pine forest in the process of exploiting resin with an output of nearly 500 tons, each year about 200 tons of quality resin are exported to China and India.
Pine resin products are mainly exported by Quynh Luu Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. This unit is currently managing 1,500 hectares of mainly old pine trees for resin exploitation.

With the characteristic that pine trees are often affected by caterpillars, affecting the quality of the resin, however, in recent years, thanks to focusing on forest care and protection measures, investing hundreds of millions in purchasing equipment, machinery, and drugs for pest control, the disease has always been controlled and not spread widely.
Each year, the pine forest produces about 200 tons of raw resin with revenue reaching 5-7 billion VND.
To increase the value, the product is currently being purchased and processed into two main products, including rosin and rosin (turpentine oil) for export to India and China; contributing to affirming the quality of Quynh Luu's rosin compared to other localities in the country.
