Quynh Luu implements the Resolution on the policy of streamlining the workforce.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 9th, Quynh Luu district organized a training conference on Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW of the Politburo and Decree 108/ND-CP of the Government on policies for streamlining personnel.

Comrade Le Duc Cuong, Provincial Party Committee member and District Party Secretary, delivered a speech at the conference.

At the conference, delegates were briefed on the contents of Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo on streamlining the workforce and restructuring the staff of cadres, civil servants, and public employees.

Accordingly, the spirit of the Resolution requires all agencies, organizations, and units of the Party, State, socio-political organizations, and public service units to develop a plan for downsizing the workforce over 7 years (from 2015 to 2021) and submit it to the competent authority for approval each year for implementation.

To date, Quynh Luu district has over 4,000 officials, civil servants, and public employees working in various agencies, units, and schools. Therefore, in accordance with Resolution 36, the entire district must reduce its workforce by approximately 400 positions by 2021.

Delegates attending the conference also focused on discussing and presenting opinions on policies and regulations related to downsizing the workforce as stipulated in Decree 108/2014/ND-CP, such as the principles of workforce downsizing, management and utilization of the downsized workforce, cases requiring workforce downsizing, and cases not yet considered for workforce downsizing...

This is a very important Resolution that must be implemented over a long period, so the Quynh Luu District Party Committee requests that heads of agencies, units, and schools in the district seriously consider and continue to disseminate the Resolution to their staff to create consensus and unity in order to effectively implement the policy and ensure all rights and benefits for workers.
