Quynh Luu is ready for beach tourism season

(Baonghean) -Quynh Luu is a district with a strong sea with many diverse and rich industries and occupations, especially in the summer, the beach is also a place for tourists to visit and swim. Every March, along the beaches, infrastructure is being renovated and upgraded to serve tourists.

Restaurants and accommodations in Quynh Nghia are being built to serve summer 2014 tourists.

With great potential for sea tourism with relatively flat sandy beaches, terrain combining mountains, sea, rivers, creeks, etc., Quynh Nghia beach is known as the most beautiful beach in Quynh Luu district. Every March, the work of consolidating and upgrading infrastructure to serve tourists is of special interest to shop and motel owners. Mr. Xuan Hinh - a shop owner at the beach said that in preparation for this year's summer tourist season, nearly 2 months ago, his family hired workers to repair the restaurant system, eateries and some other works. In addition, he also invested capital to build 2 more motel systems located right on the beach.

Quynh Nghia beach currently has 13 restaurants; 3 accommodation facilities with more than 20 bedrooms. Most of the restaurants are strictly inspected by the beach management board. Visiting the restaurants and services here, we noticed that most organizations and individuals doing business in the service have complied with the beach regulations, such as: publicly posting prices, ensuring fire safety, and environmental sanitation. Mr. Tran Quan Chinh, owner of Huong Bien 2 restaurant, said: "To serve tourists, we have built a new 2-storey dining area right next to the beach. We have instructed restaurant staff not to arbitrarily raise prices. At the same time, ensure hygiene and safety, and not let customers complain."

Besides Quynh Nghia beach, at this time, some beaches such as Quynh Bang, Quynh Minh, Quynh Lien... are also rushing to complete essential infrastructure to prepare to welcome visitors. Many shops have sprung up close together, and entertainment areas have been invested in construction. To make the recreational activities this summer more diverse, the District People's Committee has coordinated with coastal communes to organize many activities to welcome the summer of 2014 such as: Beach volleyball, tug of war, football, performing arts and some other recreational activities... In 2013, Quynh Luu district welcomed 150,000 visitors to visit and relax. In 2014, the district had 14 accommodation establishments with a total of more than 210 rooms attracting more than 100 workers. Of which, in coastal communes there are 4 motels and hotels; nearly 20 restaurants that meet standards.

Mr. Ho Ngoc Dung - Vice Chairman of Quynh Luu District People's Committee said: "In preparation for the 2014 beach tourism season, the district has directed the Department of Culture and Information to strengthen propaganda work. Along with that, activities are organized to attract tourists to the sea; speed up the construction of traffic works; create conditions to attract investment projects and encourage groups and individuals to build works to serve tourists, thereby connecting works, spiritual culture, exploiting scenic spots and craft villages. Quynh Nghia Commune has attracted Thien Nam Son Company Limited to invest in building a system of restaurants and motels. Quynh Luu will choose Quynh Nghia Commune beach as a tourist center associated with sea bathing".

With rich tourism potential and kind and hospitable people, Quynh Luu is becoming an attractive destination for investors and tourists inside and outside the province.
