(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 27, the Farmers' Association of Quynh Luu district held a conference to summarize the association's work and the farmers' movement in 2014 and deploy tasks for 2015.

In 2014, Quynh Luu Farmers' Association organized 138 training courses on transferring scientific and technical advances, attracting more than 9,500 participants. Coordinated to open 24 short-term vocational training courses for 788 members. Effectively implemented the trust contract with the social policy bank, providing credit for poor farmers and other policy beneficiaries to borrow capital with an amount of over 116 billion VND, lending to more than 5,500 households. The district association directed the grassroots association to organize 22 sessions for ministries and members to visit and learn about good production and business models in and outside the province.

Currently, the whole district has honored more than 13,000 households of good farmers at all levels. In addition, the district association mobilized cadres and members to practice saving and build a cow bank, raising over 704 million VND, helping each other to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty. At the same time, the district association and its branches have allocated nearly 37 million VND from the scholarship fund, giving gifts to 652 students with difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies on the occasion of the new school year opening ceremony...
