(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of August 28th, the Quỳnh Lưu District Education Promotion Association, in coordination with the District Education and Training Department and Bảo Việt Nghệ An Insurance Company, organized a ceremony to present scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have excelled in their studies.

To celebrate the 68th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd and to welcome the new school year 2013-2014, the Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Luu District, along with various departments and organizations, and Bao Viet Insurance Company of Nghe An Province, presented 76 gifts to 76 disadvantaged students at the primary, secondary, and high school levels in the district, totaling 38 million VND. Of this amount, the Fatherland Front Committee of the district contributed 20 million VND, the district's departments and organizations contributed 10.5 million VND, and Bao Viet Insurance Company of Nghe An Province contributed 7.5 million VND.
The gifts are intended to encourage and support underprivileged students, helping them to continue striving for excellence in their studies before the start of the new school year.
