Quynh Luu gives gifts to policy families on December 22

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2017)On December 20, leaders of Quynh Luu district organized 4 delegations to visit and give gifts to 10 policy families in the area.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to the families of: Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thuc (Quynh Hoa commune); Heroic Vietnamese Mother Vu Thi Ngan (Quynh My commune) and two martyrs' wives, Mrs. Bui Thi Thang (Quynh Long commune) and Mrs. Ho Thi Do (Quynh Thuan commune).

Three seriously wounded soldiers: Mr. Phan Thanh Vuong (Quynh Thach commune), Mr. Hoang Huy Song (Quynh Chau commune), Mr. Ho Phi Cong (Quynh Tho commune), chemical victim Mr. Ho Van Hoa in Cau Giat town; pre-uprising army officer Nguyen Van Mai (Quynh Hong commune) and the family of heroic martyr Cu Chinh Lan (Quynh Doi commune) were also visited and given gifts by the delegation.

At the families the delegation visited, the leaders of Quynh Luu district expressed their deep gratitude for the great sacrifices of heroes, martyrs and wounded soldiers in the struggle to protect the Fatherland; kindly asked about the health of heroic Vietnamese mothers and relatives of martyrs.

At the same time, it is hoped that in the coming time, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and Agent Orange victims will continue to promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, taking the lead on all fronts, especially in the field of economic development, enriching their families and localities.

On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts to heroic mothers, families of war invalids and beneficiaries of social welfare, each gift worth 500,000 VND./.
